Former President Donald Trump addressed a town hall in Georgia, promising a crackdown on immigration and the elimination of sanctuary cities if he returns to the White House. During the event, which was broadcast on Fox News, Trump engaged with female voters, articulating his positions on various issues in a more personal setting than typical campaign rallies.
Trump emphasized his commitment to enhancing border security and deporting criminals, stating, "We will eliminate all sanctuary cities across the United States and restore normalcy." His remarks came in response to concerns raised by a Georgia resident about safety following the tragic murder of a college student by an undocumented migrant. Trump assured attendees that while he supports legal immigration, he firmly rejects individuals involved in violent crime or trafficking.
In addition to immigration issues, Trump discussed his plans to protect women's sports by prohibiting biological males from competing against female athletes. He also highlighted his intention to reduce energy costs and bolster the economy through tax cuts and tariffs aimed at protecting American businesses.
While Trump’s message resonated with many in the audience, some expressed apprehension regarding his views on abortion and infertility treatments. He reassured them of his support for in vitro fertilization (IVF), suggesting that his administration would be more proactive in this area than current policies under Vice President Kamala Harris.
